Each design's drawings and calculations show every formula and identify their sources, so the client can review and approve the proposal before fabrication and installation.
For critical repairs in thin sections or linear defects, the design accounts for axial thrust loads and, where needed, is complemented with a structural reinforcement (strong-back).
Live repair is temporary: at the next shutdown the device is removed and the system's original integrity is restored, per API 570.
